I'm begging, darling, please

Yesterday was a stormy day, but today is just a dreary, rainy day, which means I have a sinus headache.
There is one particular section of my story that my characters hijack and do their own thing. Before I know it, the scene is no longer mine but all theirs. Over the weekend, they decided that they weren't going to wait for their first kiss. I think it may be too early in the story for this kiss, but I let them "act" it out. The scene is written in a way that I can snip that part out, but sshhh, don't let the Muse know this. The problem is that if I lose the kiss, it'll be a while before I can write it back in since they will be separated and in the mix of a dangerous situation.
I started reading Crossfire by JoAnn Ross last evening. It's interesting so far, and of course, I'm looking forward to the two main characters meeting. :)
Time to focus on work.
