Maybe some day soon

mbeancntrI've been doing a lot of brainstorming for my NaNo project, including trying to find that perfect name. Mostly the reason is it helps get my mind of real life. I haven't opened my current novel since the morning of 9/12. I was doing some editing that morning, not getting too involved because as soon as Mom returned from the store, we were going to tend to my dad. She returned and a few hours later, my dad passed away. I don't know if I'm purposely avoiding my novel or if my heart's just not in it right now.
My life's been upside down lately, but slowly I'm trying to get it back into something that is normal. I don't know what normal will look like with the hole in my heart from missing my father, but we'll adapt. That's what we do.
Last night, I watched the finale of True Blood and couple episodes of Warehouse 13 and Dark Blue. I'm far behind, and then to pour salt in the wound, Fringe started last week. Ugh. Now I'm behind on my favorite show, as well as tonight's episode. One day I may get caught up. And then again, maybe not.
Since my muse is not being very sociable lately it's been allowing me to watch TV. I intend to watch some more tonight.
